At a time when they are both receiving accolades, authors Helen Phillips ’07 M.F.A. and De’Shawn Charles Winslow ’11, ’13 M.A. meet on campus to reflect on their beginnings in the ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï creative writing program and how far they have come.

½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï opens a new office that provides mentorship, counseling, advisement and more for immigrant and first-generation students and their unique challenges. The goal is to help them navigate their way to graduation.
